(More customer reviews)So far I've burned and labeled most of a 25 cd pack. They all work in both cars (Pioneer in one & a 6-cd indash changer *very finicky* in the other), in the computer (HP), on the house stereo(Denon)...no problems with playback....even with up to 16 songs. I did find an upgrade for the Lightscribe technology that darkens the images on the label, which looks better. I've even used it with imported pictures, and they look very slick. I'd like to see a multi-pack tho with a mix of colors & larger quantities.

Verbatim Pink Matters 97454 700 MB 52x Benefiting Susan G. Komen for Cure Recordable Disc CD-R (30-Disc Spindle) Review

(More customer reviews)These disks have a blank surface, so they are good if you like to write all over. The logo is just a silver logo on a silver background. They are just as good as any other disk, and I have written many movies in VCD and DivX form on these, and they all play fine. What the one reviewer means by scratchy playback is beyond me, CDs that are not physically scratched either work or they don't work. These work in all cases.

(More customer reviews)If your looking for a great deal combined with a great product, than this is it. Vinpower Digital always has the best deals around and their DVDs are great. A few months ago I bought a 100 bundle of Vinpower DVDs and I never had a problem. Every single DVD burned without a write error or a read error even at 16x and I never had a DVD that didn't play in my player. So when I needed more LightScribe DVDs, I was glad to find Vinpower again. I just received these a few days ago and I used about 5 so far and every one is flawless. The LightScribe quality is good as well. One thing I should mention is although the description says these are 4.7 gb, they're not. They're 4,700,372,992 bytes which comes out to 4.37 GB. This was the same for the first ones I bought too and some Sony DVDs I have are also this way.

(More customer reviews)When I first saw this unit, I have second doubts getting it. I make a lot of short films for myself and for my family and friends but I need something to burn it in HD quality video. A AVCHD-DVD is too short and it has a small capacity to make one in a DVD-R. I heard good things about blu-rays and people are eager to know if the Macbook Pro can support the hardware. Luckily I got this one, tried on my Macbook Pro.... VIOLA! It worked! I used Roxio Toast Titanium Pro for burning BD-R with my Macbook Pro.
On my netbook, the device worked (and I was using Windows XP Pro!). I can burn files and read them from the unit. The disadvantage of burning files from my netbook to the blu-ray is it takes more time to burn them on disc. Never thought it took me more than an hour and a half to burn on a 25gb 4x BD-R (using the latest Nero Burning software, I forgot the version number). But still, it was worth it!
I recommend this to the people who love making videos on their Mac and needs a burner to make High Definition videos on a Blu-ray Discs.

(More customer reviews)These seem to burn really well. I've gone through three packs now without a single lost DVD. By the way, if you have a lightscribe burner and haven't tried the actual label burning yet, you've gotta try it. The labels look really good (considering that they're burned on), but the burning of the label can take more than 20 minutes if it's a complex label.
Overall a great product here in these DVDs.

(More customer reviews)These discs are pretty to look at, as long as you don't use or handle them. The LightScribe side of the disc is so easily scratched, just wiping it with a cloth can render text unreadable.
When I inserted and ejected the disc in my iMac, the surface had scratch marks all over it from the felt lining used to "wipe" dust off the discs in the drive slot.
Save your money and frustration and just by the regular gold colored LightScribe discs. They do not scratch.

Memorex CDR Light Scribe 20pk (32024732) Review

(More customer reviews)I actually bought the 10 pack at Target to try when we got a new HP Tower that had a Lightscribe drive. I was very happy with it. It took me a little while to figure it out but you look at the pictures and read the instructions and figure it out. Just because something is new does not mean it will eat you.
While it is a bit sad that you can not do colour in the labeling they turned out very well. I used a mid-sized background which would cover font to see how good the contrast was and was happy with it. Completely legibile, both the English words and the Chinese characters. I just ran the program as it came on the tower and was very happy. I was happy, the person it was for was happy, and the person who was using it was happy and very impressed with it (though that may be because they are still living in the era of Sharpies and printed labels - thermal printing impresses them).
