(More customer reviews)I've bought this Item 3 times now. I use lightscribe to save on ink or printing ribbons, both of which are not cheap. Lightscribe cost me $19.00 for the program and have saved hundreds of dollars on not using ink and printing ribbons. Plus you can print pictures and make your own designs on the disc's. These disc's have not failed once on recording or printing. So LG you have a great product here for my use.

HP 52x LightScribe 700MB 80-Minute CD-R Media - 25 Pack Review

(More customer reviews)So far I've burned and labeled most of a 25 cd pack. They all work in both cars (Pioneer in one & a 6-cd indash changer *very finicky* in the other), in the computer (HP), on the house stereo(Denon)...no problems with playback....even with up to 16 songs. I did find an upgrade for the Lightscribe technology that darkens the images on the label, which looks better. I've even used it with imported pictures, and they look very slick. I'd like to see a multi-pack tho with a mix of colors & larger quantities.

(More customer reviews)After buying an HP desktop with a LightScribe technology drive I bought a pack of Memorex 10PK CDR 80 SLIM LIGHTSCRIBE ( 32024731 ) to use for burning music CD's.
First, no 'dud' or failed CD burns from Memorex. The whole pack burned flawlessly.
Second, the LightScribe images looked great! I used the software installed on the HP machine to burn to the Memorex LightScribe CDRs without errors in burning or tweaks in the image. Output was perfect both for the music and the picture.
While the price on the LightScribe CDRs is slightly higher than other CD's the ability to directly label the CDs with text, graphics and photos is worth it to me. Lots of ooooohhhhh's and ahhhhhhh's from friends too!

(More customer reviews)I actually bought the 10 pack at Target to try when we got a new HP Tower that had a Lightscribe drive. I was very happy with it. It took me a little while to figure it out but you look at the pictures and read the instructions and figure it out. Just because something is new does not mean it will eat you.
While it is a bit sad that you can not do colour in the labeling they turned out very well. I used a mid-sized background which would cover font to see how good the contrast was and was happy with it. Completely legibile, both the English words and the Chinese characters. I just ran the program as it came on the tower and was very happy. I was happy, the person it was for was happy, and the person who was using it was happy and very impressed with it (though that may be because they are still living in the era of Sharpies and printed labels - thermal printing impresses them).
