(More customer reviews)I've tried 3 different Lightscribe dvds: Memorex, Philips and hp. These Philips Lightscribe DVD's are hands down the best when it comes to the visability of the image imprinted on the dvd itself....hp being the worst. I'm sticking with Philips until something better comes out..i also haven't experienced any bad dvds in the 25 pack yet, and i've used 18 of them already.........great buy!

Memorex 20x DVD±RW DL USB 2.0 External Drive Review

(More customer reviews)Having past experience with Lightscribe drives, this drive was easy to use. Although Amazon packaged it loosely and I feared it wouldn't work when I opened it, it operates just as it should.
Easy to use: just install the software with the disc that's included and follow the directions. My only problem was the file type I originally tried to burn with. It would tell me my DVD was done before it even scribed anything onto it. After I changed it to a JPG it worked just fine!
This producy includes a stand so it can also be on its side, but I'm guessing it operates better laying down.
Great product if your computer is too full for an internal drive.

(More customer reviews)I have a Lite-On LightScribe DVD burner, and have tried various brands of LightScribe blanks, and have found Verbatim LightScribe discs to be the very best - perfect everytime - no faulty discs in the entire bunch. However, I can not say that about any other LightScribe disc manufacturers; Philips discs being the worst of all - most of the Philips discs failing to operate properly in the DVD burner.

(More customer reviews)I bought a cakebox of 50 HP(Branded) lightscribe DVDs for $20 and they looked fine and quickly shipped. I recorded my content on a disk just fine. I went to label the disk and the disk writer didn't recognize the disk. I had just finished labeling a box of 25 HP DVDs from Staples. I tried 6 more disks and the bottom one to verify my findings. BE CAREFUL check them out don't stash them for later use. Amazon was great with my returning them.

(More customer reviews)Lighstcribe labeling is a great way to create beautiful images on your disks using your own photos and text. However, do not purchase this product if you want to see the best quality. I previously used Verbatim DVD media and my images printed very crisp and dark. Using the TDK media I lost a significant amount of contrast. If you want your images to look good, try a different brand.
