(More customer reviews)I am extremely pleased with this unit and the ease with which it installed on both my computers (one with Vista Business and a second with XP Professional). Both computers recognized the unit and I was able to burn DVD's and CD's within minutes. While I have not burned a large volume of media so far, I have had no burning failures or other problems with the unit. The Unit itself looks and feels very substantial and you don't feel as though you have to worry about the case breaking with reasonable normal use. The tray of the unit accepts both normal sized media I use and pocket CD's that my Mavica Camera takes pictures with. All in all the unit is a great performer at a good price.
The software that came with the unit is exceptional as well in my opinion. It installed without a hitch and came with a variety of programs that were both easy to use and quite useful. So far I have not had the opportunity to use the Light Scribe feature so I can't really comment on that yet. I would definitely recommend this even though it is slightly more expensive than other LX models.
