(More customer reviews)I've used a scribe like this for years. The conical scribe takes some getting used to. The first thing I notice is now sharp they are. The second thing I noticed is how steady I had to be to get a good scribe without mowing over the fiber. I would pick a regular chisel style over this if I had to do an 8 hour day of fiber terminations. The chisel is just more forgiving. I did grow to love the sharp tip but in a dimly lighted space the chisel is much easier to make contact and get the cut closer to the ferrule. I've just spent the last week using a ruby chisel and have found that has been my favorite so far.
