While being very close to and following the Bible, this gem dialogues Jesus and his disciples as they really must have spoken. The real disciples, with their human frailties and failings are illustrated time and again. Unlike the "lofty religious" representations that often portray Jesus as being out of the human touch, this book portrays him in his total humanity. I respectfully recommend this book to anyone who wants a refreshing, biblical look at our Lord.
