As I read it, I began to see myself as if looking at a mirror in the presence of God. I felt, not shame, but disapproval as little-by-little my religious beliefs began to screw up by the power of truth before my eyes. Now it occupies a prominent place in my little library for ready direction whenever I think of eternal life."
